Professor Glyn Stacey has been honoured with the prestigious International Scientific and Cooperation Award of the Peoples Republic of China. He won this award against stiff competition from many other Academy scientists, having made major contributions in the:
· Establishment and development of the National Stem Cell Resource Center
· Promotion of international standards
· Building training programmes
· Facilitating the establishment of the International Stem Cell Forum
